If there has ever been a perfume that has stopped us in our tracks, it’s Silky Woods by Australian fragrance house Goldfield & Banks. This Aussie label is curating its signature scents using native seeds, gums, woods, flowers, roots, oils and fruits that have been carefully harvested and blended to celebrate Australia's most authentic essences.

Silky Woods is the stand out here for us at PIBE and was the debut fragrance in the brand's luxury collection titled The Botanical Series. Imagine delicious notes of suede, exotic vanilla and tobacco leaves that have been carefully combined with refined essences of saffron, ylang ylang and agarwood (a precious wood species harvested sustainably for the first time in perfume history in the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical Queensland). Once spritzed, you are engulfed in a scent so warming, smokey and rich, that you will think twice before picking up a bottle of anything else.
